- Experience monitoring services including telemetry, logging, metrics, aggregation systems and dashboards, and SLOs/SLAs and related statistical functions
- Understanding fundamental mesh and network technologies, e.g., Istio, DNS, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, curl, openssl
- Expertise in configuring, deploying, securing, managing, and maintaining large, fault tolerant, cloud-hosted systems including auto scaling, automatic fail over and recovery, monitoring, security, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery
- Experience with configuration management technologies, e.g., Vault, Puppet, and Terraform
- Proficiency with distributed version control and CI/CD pipelines, e.g., Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker
- Experience with container and orchestration services, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices including policy, audit, encryption, identity, and secret management, e.g., TLS and PKI systems and x509 certificate management

- AWS expertise, e.g., EC2, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, etc.

Job Duties:
Design, implement, test, deliver, and support highly scalable and available global shared identity and authentication services.
Build the next generation Customer Aware Security Context (CASC) service that can be adapted by multiple clouds for authenticating their trusted entities.
Perform Test-driven development, documentation, and code reviews.
Design and develop test cases and implement automated tests using JUnit, Mockito. Deployment and maintenance of the CASC service on the AWS/Kubernetes platform.
Champion best practices around CI/CD, Release Management, versioning, monitoring, and instrumentation for the CASC service.
Work closely with product owners to help new and old stakeholders adopt the new CASC service for establishing secured trust between services.
Provide Technical support to debug and resolve production issues that can affect service availability or performance for CASC stakeholders.
Create, review and present designs to internal/external stakeholders. Deliver regular, high-quality releases to production. Ensure efficient operation of the service by implementing features that are observable via real-time metric
