As an intern at Intel, you’ll apply the knowledge acquired from your education to a hands-on role focused on information security within our IT operations and development sectors. You’ll have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as Information Security Analysis, Information Security Engineering, and IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration, while also gaining exposure to Data Center Engineering, Database Management, Enterprise Application Support, Network Engineering, and Technical Support.

Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing security protocols for both in-house and third-party software and hardware solutions. You’ll harness cloud and digital innovations to enhance Intel’s security posture and business processes. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in boosting internal productivity by troubleshooting security issues, identifying vulnerabilities, and enacting process improvements in system administration. Qualifications:

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Education: Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related STEM field with 3+ months of educational or industry experience.
