What will you be doing?
Portfolio Management 75%
 Approve requests for usage of agreed bank limits in line with agreed strategic priorities
 Request increases / new facilities in liaison with T&WC Risk – proactively identifying when limits are required as well as reacting to requests
 Record sanctioned facilities on GTPMS system
 Reserving limit headroom to support pipeline business.
 Monitoring of expired limits and exposures.
 Ongoing reconciliation of limits
 Maintaining GTPMS to provide an audit trail / history of activity
 Ensuring portfolio of limits in line with sanction
 Monitor utilisation of sanctioned limits and escalate excesses, owning through to correction
 Risk reporting
 Co-ordinate input into annual review process – providing utilisation and earnings information and estimating future requirements (increases and reductions).
Business Partnership 15%
 Deliver service in line with agreed value contracts
 Work in partnership with origination team colleagues and proactively anticipate, respond to and seek to exceed the expectations of customers
 Proactively contribute to embedding agreed change management initiatives in support of process and quality improvements, cost reductions and development of credit people
Team Working 10%
 Develop and maintain a close working relationship with colleagues in origination, Risk, Credit and Operations teams
 Interact closely with Trade Banks colleagues to support team deadlines and targets
 Support the Head of Trade Rigour and STOT in identifying training and development needs of self and the team and assisting with support as appropriate

• Experience, qualifications and other requirements
• The ACIB professional qualification or other finance related professional qualification would be preferable
• Knowledge of Trade products as they apply to bank risk
• The job-holder will be expected to have advanced skills in Excel and the ability to manage and manipulate data into a variety of formats (spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations) and be able to produce supporting written analysis
