Data Engineer II

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multiple financial processes including one or more elements of Reporting, Planning & Forecasting, Long Range Plan, Investment Optimization etc by leveraging IBM Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics platform and capabilities.
• Assist in
• Designing, building and implementation of new financial processes to conduct the Future LCR NCO estimation process monthly using actual LCR data for prior periods and various business unit forecast data to estimate forward-looking net cash outflows based on prescribed run-offs. This serves as an input for Global Treasury Funding team in constructing the Funding Plan and determining High Quality Liquid Asset (HQLA) requirements for AXP and AENB.
• Familiar with using TM1py and python to build API’s
• Consistently improve current financial processes vide automation, enhanced controls etc by adopting best practices and new capabilities.
• Should be familiar with developing dashboards and reports using PAfE & PAW
• Contribute to the assessment and improvement of impact of all processes to the platform / server.
• Consistently look for opportunities to drive value to customers by leveraging existing and new capabilities.
• Independently handle customers and their expectations around multiple aspects including on-going support, enhancement, new solutions.
• Training & Troubleshooting for both team members and business partners
• Flexibility to work during 1:30 to 9:30 pm shift.

• Consistently improve current financial processes vide automation, enhanced controls etc by adopting best practices and new capabilities.
• Contribute to the assessment and improvement of impact of all processes to the platform / server.

• Experience: 5-8 years of development experience on IBM Planning Analytics – TM1
• Academic Background– BE/BTech
• Functional Skills:
• Finance knowledge preferred
• Technical Skills
• Project experience, of designing, building, managing technology solutions for finance processes particularly using IBM Cognos TM1 with emphasis on problem solving, data integrity and automation.
• Strong hands on experience working on TI processes, rules & websheets
• Experience in build & support of Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) reports & Dashboards
• Good Understanding of Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX) for creating excel based financial reports.
• Experience and understanding of Financial Reporting, Planning & Forecasting
• Exhibits ability to think short and long term to identify and manage processes and resources
• Exhibits ability at problem solving and has an eye to identify opportunities
