The work model for the role is: #hybrid #Linkedin This role is contributing to the ELDS team You will be mainly accountable for: Understanding the product functionality and overall product architecture.
• Preparing the setup for the device under test.
• Drafting test cases to verify the product functionality. • Maintaining test plans and approvals.
• Test executions and reporting.
• Working closely with developers to understand the implementation and report the bugs.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering / Bachelor or Master of Technology in
- Electrical or Electronics and Communication / Electronics and Instrumentation
- 5 + years of experience on protocols such as IEC61850 (Ed-1 & Ed-2), Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus Serial, IEC 60870-101, 103 and 104 and DNP3.
- Experience with different Network topologies like RSTP, Ring, Star, PRP and
- HSR.
- Knowledge of network analyzer tools such as Wireshark, and Ethereal,
- knowledge of time synchronization protocols like SNTP and PTP.
- Knowledge on Serial communication RS232, RS485, USB etc.
- Familiarity with functionalities and configuration of existing ABB products
- like 605 series, REx610, RIO600 Series and 630 series and ABB tools like
- PCM600, Zenon, Micro SCADA.
- Experience in IED protection testing of Feeder, Motor and Transformer,
- 800XA, PLC.
- exposure to test automation, automation framework and scripting.
- Experience in Cloud services and Gateway testing with exposure to API testing.
- Experience in working with secondary injection kit like Dobble, Omicron etc..
- Knowledge of test and project management practices including tools like
- Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Test Rail.
- Experienced in the software engineering practices like Agile development
