- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Postgraduate/Bachelor’s degree in Tool design with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven record of engineering analysis and design execution success min 8 years
- Working knowledge of Change Management, Six Sigma and design for reliability processes
- Demonstrated experience in applying engineering fundamentals to resolve complex product performance, root cause analysis, and quality resolution issues
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans while delivering financial goals
- Knowledge of product cost structure
- Expertise in manufacturing/ production processes (PBCA, Plastic Inj. Molding, Sheet Metal, Tooling ,Castings ,Forgings)
- Exposure to LV circuit breakers and switchgear; product design & development, quality, value engineering, costing of electrical.
- Strong organization and analytical competencies
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence and drive change / results
- Demonstrated high level of motivation and resourcefulness
- Ability to work in stress conditions
- Strong team player and willingness to provide support to other team design activities
