UI/UX Engineer (4-9 Yrs)

As a UI/UX engineer, your job responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand user requirements and design goals.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, adhering to design mockups and wireframes.
• Implement and maintain consistent UI design patterns and best practices across the application based on SLDS.
• Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers;
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and apply them to all design and development activities.
• Stay updated with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies, including those related to accessibility (A11y).
• Integrate accessibility features into UI components to ensure compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 to 9 years of professional software development experience
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and web components (Javascript, ReactJS, and LWC)
• Expert knowledge of  HTML5, CSS, SASS, Flex-box and Design Systems (SLDS or Bootstrap).
• Proven understanding of web application development
• Proven experience in Styling Mobile & Web interfaces.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).
